Cape Malibu Property Owners Association
CMPOA is a Texas Corporation with a voluntary board of five property owners, each elected to a two-year term. Elections to open board seats occur at the annual meeting, held on the third Sunday each September.
By purchasing property in Cape Malibu, each property owner agrees to be bound by the Restrictions and Covenants and Bylaws that govern our community. These documents also give property owners specific rights.

Meetings
Open Board Meetings are held at Lands End under the pavilion (unless an alternate location is identified in advance) every four to eight weeks. Property owners are encouraged to attend and given opportunities to share opinions and ask questions about agenda items being discussed by the Board.
Notice of meetings are sent via email to all members who have an email address registered. We also post a notice at the entrance and Lands End bulletin boards 10 days prior to each meeting. In addition, those who have a cell number registered are sent a reminder text a few days before each meeting.
An Annual Property Owners meeting is held at Lands End the third Sunday of September to elect Board members and conduct other business as identified in our Restrictions and Covenants.
